Mordecai, Serafine and Nico. I hadn't done any proper color work with this group yet, so I decided to do a little poster-style illustration involving the three of them. That's not Serafine's usual getup - I suppose she can't pass up the opportunity to get dolled up for a special occasion, though. She's dressed as her personal version of a Voodoo mambo. The image was sketched in pencil and painted with a tablet and Photoshop.

A concept I started on about 4 years back. It just sat on the back-burner waitng to be finished. As much as we often forget the fact, life can be as delicate and as fragile as a bubble. It can end as soon as it began or float off into the distant future. It has its lows and highs and often we feel like we are are just being carried by the breeze of time and have no say in which direction we go. At times, we can only hope that the winds will be kind and nurture us and bring us to great hights and possibilities.
